A word of warnng - never deal with this awful company. I tried to buy a TV, and came across hands down the worst customer service I have ever received. They do not answer the phones, they do not reply to (multiple) e-mails, and if by a stroke of luck you do get to speak to someone they lie to you about delivery times and stock levels.My card was debited immediately, but I have since cancelled my order - am waiting for refund. Ordered the LG WM16336FD online after phoning to find out if it was in stock. I was told that using a hotmail or gmail account could cause 'give proof of your address delays' so used a 'proper email address instead - that one was easily prevented. Ordering online went without a hitch at all. They phoned to confirm a Friday delivery on Thursday evening and machine arrived first thing Friday morning, without a hitch. Purchased TV, arrived, and wouldn?t work. I have sent 7 e-mails, still no answer. No sense when you do get through on the phone, especially when you try to get through to the returns department. Ordered a Samsung LE40R87BDX LCD TV. Ordering was easy and delivery was fast. TV had a fault, and retailer was notified straight away. Emails were not answered, a form had to be filled in once I could get it sent, and then return courier organised. Have to phone to get anything done. Refund would be 3-4 working days. Contacted after this time, and they claim they have to test the TV, but haven't done it yet. Still waiting for a refund. Will update if and when I get it. Watch this space! Ordered a Samsung tv and was able to speak to someone on the phone to answer delivery questions prior to ordering on line. Delivery was free and arrived within 48hrs. Ordered the 26 Samsung LE26R74BDX on December 27th 2006 priced at £479.99 and received it on the 15th February 2007 priced at £438.00. Ok they did run out of stock. Nevertheless,I was told I would get the difference refunded (£41.99) by emailing one person who would reply back saying this other person is dealing with this case. June 06 - Ordered Samsung LCD Television LE32R74BDX very late Sunday night.Phoned Monday lunchtime to request expected delivery date and was advised goods had been despatched. Was able to track on courier website.Some credit must go to them as well.It was in Leeds delivery branch on Tuesday at 3.am.and I recieved Tuesday lunchtime. Thought delivery process was excellent. Ordered a Sony LCD KDLW40 on Fri and delivered at my requested time of 8.00pm Mon! Nizar at AJ Electrical gave great service, I was the original nervous customer but my purchase could not have been smoother and I am more than happy with the price paid. The TV is out of stock elsewhere, I got the best TV for lesser models money so happy days. Would go to AJ & Nizar again instead of searching web. I ordered by phone a Panasonic DMRE-H60D HDD/DVD recorder, how refreshing to be able to TALK to a sensible person who actually KNOWS what he is talking about! The best part was that, at my request, shipping of the item was delayed by 3 days, so that I could be at home to receive it on the ONLY day that I was able to be. Upon arrival, the item was found to be very neatly wrapped, and inside, a pleasant letter of thanks from AJs for buying from them! All told, 1st class & well done AJ. Bought a Canon IXUS 55 and a "soft" camera case. Delivered OK, but the case was bulky so after checking with the store returned it within 7 days for a refund under distance selling regs. Recorded delivery to AJ Electronics 13 Dec. By 7 January no refund received so called store, was told someone would call back - but had to call three times in all before a refund was eventually made - over a month after the product was returned. Bought a Samsung LCD TV and DVD-R with 160GB HDD. From 5pm on the day of order, I could track my items online. All arrived next morning but the DVD-R was faulty. Reported the fault next working day by phone (Yes they do answer the phone) and promptly received a replacement the next morning. The Initial City Link driver also collected the faulty item from me at the same time. First class service for well priced products. Would definately recommend AJ to anybody. I can not fault this company. I ordered a Canon MVS850i Camcorder at 4.30pm on a Tuesday, received an order confirmation email within minutes, and the camera arrived at lunchtime on Thursday. I was even able to track the order via the courier website (link provided by AJElectronics), not many companies offer this. For sure, I will be coming back to AJElectronics again. Had Sony KDLV40A12U on order from another retailer at slightly cheaper price but kept waiting for stock to arrive for 3 weeks. Fed up of excuses and cancelled. Ordered same from AJ and even with credit application the item was delivered within 2 days of the order being placed. Thats what service is all about! Highly recommended in all aspects.
