I urge all UK shoppers to be wary of "eGears UK". I purchased a Cannon cammera I thought was new - a used 2nd hand item arrived that did not work 100% correctly. Despite what 2 previous reviewers (probably eGears staff!) have stated they are NOT UK based and you will have difficulty in getting them to account for their faulty gear.

I had a fantastic experience ordering from Egears from beginning to end. I placed my order on Friday and received my camera on Monday morning!

I purchased a Sony camera case from this store which was not available anywhere. They delivered this to me the next day from London with no hassle whatsoever. I am very pleased with this purchase.

They pretend to be based in Kensington, London ? they are not they are based in the USA avoiding UK consumer protection laws. I paid a top price for a ?Refurbished to New? Minolta G400. It arrived quickly, and was packed perfectly with no damage to the packaging. I opened it to find that it had been packed with obvious damage to the flash which does not work. They have intentionally sent me a broken second hand camera which they now want me to send back to the USA at my expense.

I have recently purchased a Sony P200 Cybershot camera in August, but was out of stock, and had to be reordered. Finally got the camera which had been delivered via the USA (13.09.06) The camera screen was scratched and scuff marks on the camera body. Informed the company immediately by email only method of communication other than postal. Company asked for Serial No., which I did, still waiting for reply. Very very disappointed with service

I have purchased a new mini ipod from egears for a Christmas gift. I received it very quickly after I ordered this. I was very pleased because I could not find this item at any other store. Brilliant service! I would definitely buy from egears again.

Ordered a Iriver H340 which turned out to be the US version which has features missing as its not supposed to be for the European market. I told Egears they were mis selling this item but they didnt agree. They are based in the USA and any RMA has to go there and NOT the UK. Theres no phone number so the only communitcation is via email which because of the 5 hour delay dont get answered until the evening UK time. I urge people not to buy fromo them.
