Great for beginner or high end amateur

Pros: long battery life, crystal clear photos, large swivel viewing screen

Cons: Does not have motion stability.

The Bottom Line: I give this a very high recommendation. Great quality photos, very easy to use for all levels of expertise, great battery life(important).

Review: First let me say I am not a professional photographer but I am able to take some professional looking photos with the Canon A640. I do not know everything there is to know about photography- I am learning as I play with my A640. I love the large ...

Pros: Easy to use, lightweight, plenty of great features.

Cons: If there are any, I'd say it's heavier than I'd like.
