Well, first thing I have to say is wow. This camera is amazing for people that love to take quality pictures not only for causal use, but for publications and professional work as well. After I took it out of the box, I couldn't put it down. The pictures were clear, the quality was amazing.
I bought this product because I really enjoy taking pictures and needed something small, light, and crystal clear. The price range is good - probably for more serious camera users - but the quality is excellent. It has all the features from zooming to its digital single-lens reflex capabilities.
The aspect that I loved about this camera the most was its integrated image sensor vibrating cleaning system. It is nice to know that I can count on avoiding self-cleaning scratches and damage to the probably very expensive lens.
The only aspect that I hated about the Canon EOS 400D is that the DIGIC II image processor that is used, as compared to the 350D, tends to cause overexposure on some of the pictures that I have taken. I have not figured the issue yet, but I am curious as to way the company decided to switch to the 400D.
