Pros: 7 megapixels, 4X optical zoom, and uses available anywhere AA batteries
Cons: Redeye, some corner softness and minor chromatic aberration (purple fringing)
Bottom Line: The new Canon Powershot A550 Digital Camera provides an almost perfect balance of cost to performance, flexibility, and ease of use.

Pros: Price, resolution, uses 2 AA batteries, size, features, image quality, easy to use

Pros: Much Bang for your Buck!!!
Cons: Battery door build quality, batteries, 16MB memory card.
Bottom Line: Fool Proof, Easy, Flexible, Solid it will do everything you can ask of it and more ~ so why spend more?

Pros: Excellent photos; many features and settings; easy for novice & advanced enough for others.
Cons: Included memory card too small; wrist strap too long.
Bottom Line: This is an excellent camera for the novice who will grow with the features offered. No need to upgrade to a more sophisticated camera after the learning period.

Pros: Deleting is just two steps. So easy! There's no confusion here, nor complexity causing delays.
Cons: Shutter speed delay noticeable & annoying, preventing quick sequential shots. Downloading drains batteries.
