I bought this camera because my friend had it, and I always loved the pictures she took. she bought the camera for about $200 when it came out, but luckily when I bought it, it was on sale, and the case as well as rechargeable batteries came with it as well. I also picked up a 2 gb mem card and it all came out to under $200. This camera is great..since I am a novice, the Auto focus ensures great pics every time. Not enough lighting? No problem change the setting. I also really like the videos I can make with this cam, which I download to Youtube easily. The camera also looks very sleek, with its silver color. The zoom is great on this cam! I have a great collection of pics of my newborn baby. The only thing that is a little annoying with this cam is the delay in snapshot. When I click to take a pic of my baby when she's smiling, by the time the 3 second delay is done, she has stopped smiling. All in all though, I highly recommend this cam for the price, the ease of use, and best of all the great pics!!
