Bought the Canon A560 at Office Depot, and paid extra for the OD extended warranty.
I was not thrilled about the quality of the pictures this camera takes, but figured its alright for a cheap camera.
Two months later the lens started sticking when turning the power on. Got worse until it finally was frozen in mid extension.
Office Depot's warranty didn't start until the Canon warranty was over (1 year), and they said to contact Canon.
Sent camera to Canon for warranty repair. They rejected the warranty coverage because of a very tiny scratch in the cheap plastic camera body. They wanted $100 to repair it.
I declined and took the camera to Office Depot. They agreed with me that I was getting RIPPED OFF BY CANON.
They gave me a new replacement and sent the camera back to Canon to fix.
MY KUDOS TO OFFICE DEPOT - MY DISGUST TO CANON!!!!!
