Pros: Durable construction, great feature set, good controls, sharp lens across the zoom range.
Cons: Slightly above average noise at all ISO settings, somewhat expensive.
Bottom Line: I can recommend the Canon G9 for its rugged build, sharp lens, and good controls. Image noise, handling, and price are all just a little less than desirable.
