Pros: Clear, understandable menus, scene assists for numerous situations, and GREAT battery life
Cons: Indoor/Low light pictures need planning, flash recharge slow to preserve battery
Bottom Line: Buy it. For outdoor shots, can produce poster size photos. For indoor shots, practice with the many features. Small enough to take everywhere.

Pros: Compact size, reasonable price. Easy to understand interface. Good resolution for such a small camera
Cons: Weak flash, recycle time way too long. Oversaturation and blown highlight at times.
Bottom Line: A good pocket camera that works well enough, if you don't use the flash.

Pros: Small size, takes great nature shots
Cons: Terrible lag time between shots, lousy indoor/flash
Bottom Line: For the money, the Nikon 5600 might be an acceptable camera for an occasional photographer. Operational problems, for me, make this camera unacceptable.
