Great Camera at the Time

I bought this camera two and half years ago, and although I love it it is not without it's share of faults.

The good:

Great optical zoom.
Decent digital zoom.
Decent battery life.
Good video
Beautiful pictures

The bad:

Noisy focusing
At one point would turn off and on and off and on and had to be fixed (thankfully was under warranty.
Bulky

My daughter just bought a Kodak that is much smaller with similar features which I think would do better overall than this one because of its size.

The camera seems sturdy and well constructed. It does not appear as flimsy as many of the plastic, light-weight ones out there today. It is not light, though, and I had trouble finding a case that wasn't too huge for it.

Also, when I first bought it I bought a 2gb memory card for it, and at first it wouldn't work. It would only fill to a point and then stop. I contacted Kodak and it was that at the time the camera only recognized up to 1gb cards. I had to download some stuff to the camera and then it worked properly. I have not had an issue with it since.
