Pros: Compact Size, Stylish, ergonomic design, 14 scene modes, amazing macro function.
Cons: Drains batteries faster than other digital cameras.
Bottom Line: Choosing the right digital camera can be an overwhelming process. The Coolpix 3100 is the one I'd recommend for exceptional picture quality, features, and ease of use.

Pros: The enhancement options are easily accesible from the camera itself.
Cons: Battery use is a little much - perhaps no more than most digital cameras.
Bottom Line: Unless you are a professional requiring a lot more - Buy it. You will also need to buy a memory card upgrade to at least 128 meg.

Pros: small camera! large lens and megapixels for money
Cons: not rechargeable! Rechargeable batteries and case available at additional cost. Some shutter lag time
Bottom Line: worth the money. hunt for best deals Be prepared to spend another $30-45 for case and rechargeable batteries and pack. Still love it because it's so small!
