Digital Camera With Ooomph and Style |

Pros: Handy excellent photo quality, easy to view large screen, 5x zoom a plus.
Cons: Menu somewhat complicated for newbee to digital cameras. Video/Still choice is awkward to use.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this camera for its size, weight, and the "oomph" that it carries in its small compact body. For the price, it performs beautifully.

Having stepped up from the Sony DSC T-10, I should have spent the few extra bucks in the first place for the DSC T-100. There is a world of difference in these two cameras. Being a cat photographer I am more than satisfied with the performance of its more sophisticated brother.
The Sony DSC T-100 is a honey of a camera. Brilliant clarity on photos which show detail beautifully from large subjects down to the smallest whiskers on a cat.
Video quality is excellent. The anti-shake component is an aspect that is really great.
I was amazed that even in dim lighting with the high ISO I was able to capture photographs of my cats without having to use the flash. It was a delight not to have photos of cats with eyelids shut, or to battle glare.
Inanimate objects photograph beautifully as well.
Light weight, compact and attractively stylish, this little camera is indeed a gem. The 5x zoom is a real improvement over the T-10. One can get "up close and personal" without being intrusive. This is an excellent feature when photographing animals for sure.
I purchased the camera from Profeel.com, which was, in itself a really smooth transaction. Their customer service people do a bang up job of answering questions and taking care of their customers. I recommend their company highly.
