Epinions Olympus Hits A Home Run

by  mrtony8,  Dec 28, 2005
Pros: Appearance is quality, not tinny.
Cons: Not enough memory from factory.
Review: This is my fourth generation digital camera and it is worth the wait. The large viewing screen is great both indoors and outdoors. Pictures are very easy to take, even without reading the manual. Included is a quick start guide and it is all I needed to ...

Epinions Great take-anywhere or supplementary camera

by  joat_ca,  Jan 22, 2006
Pros: Price, folding style works well, image quality good
Cons: Needs dock for charging and download, looks funny, scene modes are mostly bling.
The Bottom Line: Great camera for people who tend to break stuff. Surprisingly good image quality for the class. Take it (almost) anywhere!

Pros: The size is convenient
Cons: The super-macro mode is erratic
The Bottom Line: When you don´t want to do anything special
Review: This is a point-and-shoot camera. You can get some good pictures with it, but it will make you work to get anything out of the ordinary. For example, it doesn’t like to take panoramic pictures of bright scenes. It took me half an hour to take four shots ...

Epinions i:robe, not one to wear

by  coachrapture,  Dec 14, 2004
Pros: Good design. Solid body and feel.
Cons: Not very portable due to dock. Red-eye no matter the setting. Flash is too powerful
Review: I bought this camera in Tokyo two weeks ago. So far, I can tell you that it is not worth it. Unless you're buying the whole system, the dock for the camera is a pain in the butt. You need the whole dock just to connect to your computer meaning that if ...
